Sagnam




Sagnam is located in Lahaul and Spiti District and is about 40 km south-west of Kaza. It lies on the right bank of river Pin.

To reach this village one has to pass through the Jhoola Bridge. This is a single wire suspension bridge which is crossed sitting in a sling and sliding on the wire with the help of an Ibex horn. World famous breed of horses called Chaumurti can be seen here. Mud is about 15 km south-west.
