Sagar is a beautiful lake located behind the
Alwar City Palace in
Alwar.
It is an artificial lake built in AD 1815 and has a few temples along its bank. The City Palace is separated from the base of the hill by this lake. Moosi Maharani Chhatri, an impressive cenotaph (chhatri), lies on its bank.
