Sabu




Sabu, a charming village near to Sankar Gompa, is nestled between two mountainous spurs that stretches southwards of the Ladakh range. It is about 9 km from Leh, in Jammu and Kashmir. Sabu is on the trekking route of Polu Digar from Leh.

Sabu is an excellent camping area for the trekking enthusiast. For trekking, one can get horses from Sabu. Choglamsar, which has a Tibetan refugee settlement, is a nearby attraction.

Sabu can be approached from Leh by road. The nearest railway station is at Jammu.
