Saag Gosht




Saag Gosht is a traditional Mughlai dish prepared with a pungent blending of lamb, spinach and spices. In this recipe, succulent pieces of lamb are cooked with fresh spinach, onion, ginger, garlic clove, vegetable oil, bay leaf, whole cloves, cardamom pod, cinnamon stick, ground coriander, cumin powder, turmeric, cayenne pepper, tomato, plain yogurt, salt, and garam masala. It is usually served with aromatic rice, eggplant raita and tomato chutney. This dish could also be made with beef.
