S.N. Bose National Centre for Basic Sciences is situated at
Salt Lake City of
Kolkata. It was established in the year 1986 by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. The institute offers graduation and post-graduation program in Physical Sciences.
The college has most modern infra-structural facilities. A well-stocked library with a wide collection of books, magazines, and newspapers is provided for the students. It also has facilities for spiral binding, color printing, scanning, and lamination.
