Rungdil Lake




Located about 150 km from Aizawl, Rungdil is a manmade lake and sprawls over an area of about 3 hectares.

Rungdil, meaning lake of partridge, is the habitat of a large number of partridges. It comprises two lakes, separated by a narrow stretch of land. Surrounded by tropical evergreen deciduous forests, the lake abounds in flora and fauna. Boating facility is available at Rungdil.

The lake is around 14 km from Suangpuilawn village.
