Rudeshwar Mahadeva Temple

Rudeshwar Mahadev Temple - dedicated to Lord Shiva - is located in Sanana, 50 km from Ranikhet. It is on Bhikiasain-Chaukhutia road, along the banks of Ramganga River. It is believed that Lord Ram had prayed to Lord Shiva here. The main festival celebrated in this temple is Mahashivaratri; there's also a Shivaratri Fair held on that day. Bhumia Temple, Jaurasi and Lakhanpur Temple are located nearby.
