Rowta

Rowta is a charming town in Darrang District and is located 47 km north-east of Mangaldoi. It is situated on National Highway 52 and is 61 km west of Tezpur.

Orang National Park, Kaziranga National Park and Nameri Tiger Reserve constitute interesting excursions outside Rowta.

Nearest airport is at Guwahati. Tangla Railway Station serves Rowta.
