Rohini




Rohini is a picturesque tourist spot situated about 25 km from Siliguri in Darjeeling District of West Bengal. It is located on the new road which connects Siliguri with Kurseong.

In olden days Rohini is famous for its tea gardens, but today the place attracts thousands of people with its natural beauty. Rohini Lake, which flows just below the mountains carpeted with tea gardens, adds to its charm. Tourists can enjoy boating on the small lake on the lap of mountains with tea gardens.

Rohini Hilltop offers panoramic view of the hills as well as the plains. You can see the Kurseong town looking straight up high above the mountains. Tourists can also explore the nearby forests. A short trek through the dense forests of Lama Gomba can be a real adventure for the wild life lovers.

Dudhia, a popular picnic spot, is just 15 minute drive from here. The forests of Bamanpokhari are located nearby.
