Situated to the south-east of
Leh, Roang is a small village in
Leh District of
Jammu and Kashmir. It is about seven kilometers from
Tirido.
Located at a height of 15,160 ft, it is an ideal base for adventure enthusiasts who are on their trail to the Great Himalayas. Chompa in the west, Namchang in the north, Kiagi in the east and Gaik in the south are the neighboring sites.
Roang is accessible from Erad.
