Lined with plants and trees, Ridge Park is a small stretch of plain and flat road above the town of Gangtok. It is around 15 min walk from the main market of Gangtok. Ridge Park has the White Hall and Mintokgang, the Chief Minister's official residence, on one end and the beautifully designed palace gate with a pagoda rooftop on the other end. It is a favorite haunt for walks during the cherry blossom season. The Zen styled Ridge park has a unique Sikkimese style gazebo. Flower shows which attract tourists from all over the world are held just below the Ridge.
