Raymond's Tomb is in Saroornagar, about 10 km east of
Hyderabad. Saroornagar is close to the Hyderabad-
Vijayawada road.
Raymond's Tomb is 7 m high black granite pillared shrine and is dedicated to Jaochim Raymond, a French soldier, who served in the Nizam Army in 1786. Hardly a kilometer from the tomb is a French garden where Raymond and his men stayed. One can see the traces of the military barracks even now.
