Ravechi Mata Temple




Ravechi Mata Temple is situated at Ravechi in Kutch District of Gujarat. It is an ancient shrine which is believed to have been built by the Pandavas. The presiding deity is Ravechi mata.

The present Ravechi Mata Temple was reconstructed in 1822 and is 54 ft tall. Along with the idol of Goddess Ravechi, it also houses a number of other deities. The temple of Ravechi is also famous for its Gaushal, which keeps over 2,500 cows. Ravechi Mata Fair conducted in September attracts scores of devotees.
