Ratia is a semi-urban area located on the banks of Ghaggar River, in Fatehabad District, Haryana. It is a major market for cotton, paddy and wheat in the district. Ratia is situated 23 km north of Fatehabad.

It is believed that the town derives its name after Rattan Nath, a sadhu with extra-ordinary powers, who once resided here. Nearby excursions include the archeological sites of Kunal Mound and Banawali Mound, Shershah Ka Kila and Idgah and the Humayun Mosque and Lat (a stone pillar) at Fatehabad.

The airports at Ludhiana, Chandigarh and New Delhi serve Ratia. Sirsa Railway Station is a nearby major railhead.
