Ratanmani lies in Satchand block ('block' is an administrative unit) of South Tripura District. The village has a population of 2,000 and was recently in news for achieving 100 percent sanitation.
Ratanmani can be easily reached from Sabroom, on the National Highway 44, and Manu Bazar. Belonia is another nearby town. Udaipur, the district headquarters and a tourist destination, is around 60 km north.
