Rarheswar Temple




Rarheswar Temple is an architectural landmark located at Kanksa Village in Bardhaman District of West Bengal.

It is a highly revered shrine of Lord Shiva. Legend has it that this beautiful temple was built to protect the village from the attack of Bhaskar Pandit, a devotee of Shiva.

Rarheswar Temple is easily accessible from Bardhaman town, which is 95 km north-west of Kolkata.
