It is the base camp for the pilgrimage to Shiv Khori Cave Temple. This holy cave is nearly one km long and houses a four ft high
swayambhu (naturally formed) Shivling. The cave temple is about 6 km from the base camp and can reach by foot.
Ransu is situated about 112 km from Udhampur and 60 km from Katra. The nearest airport is at Jammu. Regular buses and taxis are available from Katra to Ransu.
