Ranguthang is located in South Sikkim District and lies near the Namchi-Damthang trek route. Namchi is around 10 km south.

Parbing, 6 km south, is an ideal destination for trekkers and hikers.

Civil Enclave Bagdogra is the closest airport. Darjeeling Railway Station is the nearest railhead.
