Rampur




The town of Rampur, located near the western banks of the Damodar River, is in the northern part of Howrah District. It is also near the border of Hooghly District. Udaynarayanpur, a taluk headquarters, is 9 km to its south. Pancharul, Gaurangachak and Manikera are other neighboring locations.

Jagatballabhpur and Patihal, known for its pressed-nose dolls, are also nearby.
