Ramaswamy Temple




Ramaswamy Temple is a Vaishnava temple located at Kumbakonam in Thanjavur District. The temple has exquisite stone sculptures of the Nayakar period. The main feature of the temple is that here Lord Ram is in the Pattabhisheka scene with Sita and his three brothers and Anjaneya at his foot. In front of the temple there is a mandapam with 62 pillars containing splendid art work. The main festivals are Ram navami and Navratri.
