Ramamangalam




Ramamangalam is a village in Ernakulam District of Kerala. It is laced with a rich greenery of coconut palms and extensive paddy fields. Ramamangalam lies around 30 km from Ernakulam, on the Tripunithura-Muvattupuzha route.

Ramamangalam Perumthrikkovil Temple and Balanarasimha Temple are the major places of worship. An annual musical festival is remembered here in the name of Govinda Marar, the official singer in the palace of Maharaja Swathi Thirunal of Travancore. Muvattupuzha River, one of the important rivers in the district, flows nearby.

Ramamangalam is 18 km from Muvattupuzha. Regular buses connect the place with Koothattukulam and Ernakulam. Tripunithura Railway Station is the nearest railway station.
