Ram Tirath Temple

Ram Tirath Temple is an ancient shrine situated on the Amritsar-Chogawan road, about 15 km west of Amritsar, in Punjab. The temple site is believed to be the place where Maharshi Valmiki composed Ramayana. It is also regarded as the birth place of Lava-Kusha.

The four-day annual fair, held on every Kartika Puran-mashi (full moon night in November), is a major draw.
