Ram Nagar is a small town situated towards the southern part of
Satna District, about 55 km south-east of
Satna and 18 km away from
Amarpatan.
Main attraction here is a hill about 2,3454 ft high, to the north of Ram Nagar.
Beohari, Nagod, the archeological site of Bharhut and the ancient temples and 19th century palaces at Rewa can be visited.
The nearest airport is at Khajuraho. Chorhata Railway Station serves Ram Nagar.
