Rajnagar is a taluk headquarters in Seraikela District of Jharkhand. Seraikela, the district headquarters, is around 25 km north.

Rajnagar is inhabited by Santal tribe. Santhali and Ho are the main languages spoken and Tusu and Baha are the main festivals celebrated here.
