Rajgundha




Rajgundha is a scenic village located about six km from Billing, in the Kangra District of Himachal Pradesh. It lies at an elevation of about 2,250 m above sea level on the Manali - Bir trek route in Kangra Valley. Uhl River, a tributary of the Beas River, flows through Rajgundha.

Rajgundha is inhabited by Gaddis and Gujjars tribes.

Nalagarh, Taragarh, Thamsar Pass, Palachak Deota and Panhardu are nearby tourist destinations. Rajgundha is an ideal base for trekkers, nature lovers and bird watchers. Base camps are available.

Nearest railway stations: Kangra Railway Station and Baijnath Paprola Railway Station.
