Rajgir Wildlife Sanctuary




Rajgir Wildlife Sanctuary lies at Rajgir in Nalanda District of Bihar and is about 102 km from Patna.

This is a 36 sq km sanctuary of tropical dry deciduous forests and shelters the barking deer, langur, giant squirrel, hyena, leopard and nilgai (blue bull).

October to June is the best season to visit the sanctuary.

The closest airport is Patna Airport and Rajgir Railway Station serves as the nearest railhead.
