Rajashri Shahu Khasbag Maidan, a kusti ground, is located at
Kolhapur, a famous center for traditional wrestling.
The ground can accommodate around 25,000 people. There is a band room that houses the instrumental music 'Halagi', used to inspire the wrestlers. One can watch the wrestlers training here.
The main wrestling season is between June and September, the coolest time of year.
