Raj Nivas is a magnificent French Palace situated in
Pondicherry Town,
Pondicherry District. This palatial building beckons the visitor with chandeliers in the hall, seen through the gate. It was the erstwhile residence of Joseph Francois Dupleix. Raj Nivas is now the residence of the Lieutenant-Governor of Pondicherry.
