Raj Babari Mosque

Raj Babari Mosque is an ancient shrine situated at Gomtipur in the outskirts of Ahmedabad. This mosque is famous for its shaking minarets. Believed to have been raised in the 15th century, Raj Babri Mosque draws a large number of tourists. These minarets have been seriously damaged by the earthquake in Gujarat and have become half their original height. The government is planning to rebuild the minarets. Hindu and Muslim architectural styles are evident in the construction of the mosque. Rani Sipri Mosque, Kite Museum and Shreyas Folk Museum are nearby attractions. Regular bus services are available from Ahmedabad Bus Station. The nearest railhead is at Gomtipur.
