Rait

Rait is a small rural township on the western outskirts of Aligarh city. It is about 16 km from Aligarh and 12 km east of Khair.

Historically important Aligarh is indeed a place of interest, and has a number of spots worth visiting such as a church in Naqvi Park, the remains of an ancient fort and the Aligarh Muslim University, which is one of the most important medieval buildings in the state.

Rait is just off the road connecting Aligarh-Bulandshahr road. Aligarh Junction Railway Station and Agra Civil Enclaves serve the town.
