Rahli




Rahli is a taluk headquarters town, located on the banks of the Swarnabhadra River and about 42 km from Sagar, in Madhya Pradesh.

Rahli is a popular Jain center and houses one of the ancient temples in the state, the Patnaganj Teerth. The dharamshala, situated near the temple, provides lodging and boarding facilities for visitors.

Government College Rehli, one of the leading educational institutions in the district, functions here. Rehli Surya Mandir, Pandarinadh Mandir, Tikitoria Mandir (5 km from the town), Kila Fort – an 18th century fort lying on the banks of the Rehli River, are the major attractions in the locality.

Buses and taxies frequently ply between Rahli and Sagar. Nearest airport is at Bhopal. Sagar Railway Station serves the town.
