Raghogarh Painting

The erstwhile kingdom of Raghogarh in Rajasthan had its own school of painting since the 17th century. Usually plain background was used to emphasize the main characters in these painting. Contrasting to that, the significant persons like kings and noblemen were shown in their appropriate size.
