Radhanagar




Radhanagar is a historic village located about 45 km from Tarakeshwar in Hooghly District. This is the birth place of Raja Ram Mohan Roy, the father of Indian renaissance. The main attraction of the village is a family temple dedicated to Lord Krishna. The idol of Radha- Krishna attracts a large number of devotees. The temple is noted for its architectural excellence. Regular bus services are available from Tarakeshwar to reach here.
