Rabdentse




Rabdentse is an archaeological site situated in West Sikkim District. It was the second capital of the erstwhile kingdom of Sikkim. Its ruins lie hidden from the main road. It is easily accessible on foot from the Pemayangtse Monastery. Steppe eagle, Striated Bulbul, Chestnut-crowned Warbler, Scaly-breasted Wren Babbler, Rufous-capped Babbler, Black-eared Shrike Babbler and Dark-breasted Rosefinch are some of the birds seen here.
