R P Sharma Institute of Technology, a full fledged premier professional college, is situated in Patna. Established in 1980, it is managed by Patna Educational Development Trust.
The college is affiliated to Magadh University and is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. It conducts programs in engineering subjects such as civil, computer science, mechanical and electronics and communication.
