Pushpakandam, one place still untouched by human greed, is a nice tourist destination blessed with rich greenery, rivulets and hills. It is situated near Palar in Nedumkandam of Idukki District. Nedumkandam lies on Munnar-Thekkady road, about 56 km from Munnar.

The thick forests, grasslands (rich in flora and fauna) and rivulets provide a fine natural habitat for wildlife and hundreds of rare migratory birds. The place is also an ideal spot for trekking and eco-tourism.
