Pune Festival, held around late August or early September, coincides with the
Ganesh Mahotsav and is the biggest festival in
Pune city.
The festival is organized by the Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation and has events like classical dance and music recitals, film and drama festival, automobile rallies and traditional sports.
