Pulampatti




Pulampatti is a small town situated to the north of Idappadi in Salem District of Tamil Nadu. Other nearby places include Ammapettai of Erode District to the south and Jalakandapuram to the east. The river Cauvery passes through this area.

Kailayanathar Temple is the main attraction here. Nearby tourist sites include Mettur Dam, Sankakiri Fort and Shri Kailasanathar Temple at Taramangalam, all within a 30 km radius.

By road, Pulampatti is accessible from Salem, around 50 km east. Salem Airport and Salem Junction Railway Station are the major airport and railhead.
