Pudukadai




Pudukadai, also spelt Puthukadai, is a small town situated near Kuzhithurai in Kanyakumari District, Tamil Nadu. It spans over an area of about two sq km. Killiyoor is situated in the south-east, Kuzhithurai in the north and Ezhudesam in the south-west. Kollemcode, a sleepy hamlet known for traditional Thookam Festival at Vattavila Sree Bhadrakali Temple, lies nearby. Thengapattinam, Adhikesava Perumal Temple at Thiruvattar, Sanguthurai Beach, Manavalakurichi, Muttam and Padmanabhapuram Palace are nearby tourist spots. Accommodation facilities are available at Nagercoil. Trivandrum International Airport is the nearest airport. Kuzhithurai Railway Station serves Pudukadai. Pudukadai can be easily accessed from Thiruvananthapuram and Nagercoil by road.
