Proddatur




Proddatur is a prominent religious destination in Cuddapah District of Andhra Pradesh. It is around 37 km north-west of Cuddapah.

The prime attraction of Proddatur is the elaborately carved Kanyaka Parameswari Temple. Other focal points are Agasteswara Temple built by Sage Agastya, Mukti Ramalingeswara Swamy Temple built by Krishna Deva Raya, Sri Ayyappa Temple and Sai Baba Temple.

Proddatur is also an important business and trading center in the district.

Tirupati Airport is the nearest airport. Yerraguntla Railway Station is the nearest railhead.
