Prini




Prini is a picturesque village situated five km from Manali in Kullu District. It lies at an elevation of about 1,900 m, on the ManaliChandra Tal Lake - Baralacha Pass trek route. Trek to Chandra Tal Lake begins from Prini. The place is covered with thick forests of silver oak. Arjun Gufa, located on the bank of the River Beas, is the prominent attraction. The village has temples of Nag Devta (Snake God) and Lord Jumla. The Prini Festival is held every year.

Alian Kund, Panduropa, Hamta Pass, Chhika, Juara, Rauli Khol and Shiagouru are the nearby destinations. It is an ideal base for trekking and mountaineering. Accommodation is available at Holiday Inn Manali and Timber Trail Manali.

Kullu Manali Airport at Bhuntar is the nearest airport. Chandigarh Railway Station and Joginder Nagar Railway Station are the nearest railway stations. Prini is connected by road to Manali.
