Prerana, a
Delhi based not-for-profit voluntary organization came into existence in 1974. The prime objective is to improve the quality of life of individuals and groups through self help and to create awareness about issues such as population, health, hygiene, reproductive health, education and capacity building.
In pursuit of this aim, they have implemented better life options program, fellowship programs, research and documentation and integrated community based health projects. Electrical repairs workshop are also conducted for both adolescent boys and girls.
In 1983, Prerana became an associate of the Washington based voluntary organization CEDPA (Centre for Development and Population Activities).
