Prabhashpatan




Prabhashpatan is a village located about 80 km south of Junagadh. The village is renowned for a Jain shrine dedicated to Shri Chandraprabhu Bhagwan. This place is believed to have been blessed by the presence of Chakravarti Samrat Shri Bharat, the elder son of Adinath. The famous temple of the village, Shri Prabhashpatan Teerth, houses the 115 cm high idol of the chief deity. The Brahmi River flows through nearby. The world famous Somnath Temple is the nearby attraction. Besides, Prabhash Patan Museum, Parashuram Tapobhumi, Surya Mandir and Somnath Beach are easily reachable from here. Regular buses are available from Veraval Bus Station. Veraval Railway Station is 7 km from the village.
