Located in Chennai, Pothys, popularly referred to as Aalayam (house) of silks, is a six storeyed showroom housing the latest in ladies, men and kids apparels. Among the saree specialties are crepe, Kanchipuram, georgette and embroidery. Besides, there is an exquisite collection of skirts, jeans and shirts to choose from. A fine selection of sherwanis, ghagras and cotton wear can be found in the kids section. Gents wear section has apparels for both official and casual occasions.
Chennai is well linked by road, rail and air. There are two major railheads: Chennai Beach Railway Station and Chennai Central Railway Station. Chennai International Airport, 7 km south of the city, is the closest airfield.
