Porcupine Point




Porcupine Point is a famous tourist spot located at Matheran in Raigad District. It is an ideal place for catching the sunset. Prabalgad Fort can also be viewed from here.

Porcupine Point is named because of its shape, which resembles the shape of the quill of Porcupine Bird.

The western side, from Porcupine to Louisa Point, is known as Cathedral Rocks.

Matheran is about 105 km east of Mumbai.
