Porbandar Port is an all weather port with direct berthing conveniences. It is situated along the latitude and longitude of 21° 38' N and 69° 37' E respectively. The port faces the Arabian Sea and lies in the west coast of Saurashtra. 2 km south-east of the lighthouse is the anchor buoy of 10 m depth. Wharf for steamers are available. Facilities include tugs, launches, water barge, cranes, and a godown. The port handles import and export of commodities.
Broad gauge railway connects the port with the main places of India. Porbandar is the nearest airport.
