Porag, the post-harvest festival of Assam, features dance competitions and a host of entertainments. During this festival, drummers and dancers belonging to a village are invited to perform in the neighboring village. The result is a healthy competition between the performers of both the villages. The drummers and dancers present their skills to their full potential, providing wholesome entertainment to those gathered at the venue.
