Founded in 1930, Poona Kennel Club is one of the oldest kennel clubs in India. It functions from Pune, the automobile city of India. Affiliated to Kennel Club of India (KCI), the club helps in processing applications for dog registrations, litter registrations, dog transfers and other certificates of canine interests.
The Poona Kennel Club conducts its dog shows during the Poona horse-racing season, July-September, at the Southern Command Gymnesium.
