Established in 1958, Poojya Dodappa Appa College of Engineering is an accredited (NBA) institution managed by Hyderabad Karnataka Education Society. It offers eleven under-graduate and eight post graduate engineering courses in various disciplines such as civil, mechanical, electrical, electronics and communications, industrial and production, power electronics, thermal power, environmental and structural engineering.
The institute features a main building with office, library, classrooms and laboratories. Internet facility, playground and sports facility and satellite reception center are available. There are seperate hostels for boys and girls.
The college is near to Gulbarga Railway Station in Gulbarga.
