Plage Paradiso, better known as Paradise Beach, is at Chunnambar, which is 8 km from
Pondicherry town, on the
Cuddalore Main Road. Its golden sand and the view of beautiful sunrise make it one of the sought after destinations. A rivulet on one side adds to the beauty.
The beach provides opportunities for sun bathing and various sports activities. Volleyballs, nets, beach umbrellas and fishing rods can be borrowed from the nearby water sports center. There are tree top houses and a multi-cuisine restaurant to cater to the accommodation and dining needs.
